Gas probe holder with an exchangeable probe pipe are a complete gas probe. It has a gas-electric cable that connects the analyser with the probe pipe. Additionally it can be equipped with a condensate trap with gas filter. All probe holders have a standard M30x1 female connector to attach the probe pipes. Probes come in two versions:

  1. Heated, with a slot for soot measurement
  2. Unheated (without possibility to perform soot test)

Way to use

Mounting the probe pipe to the probe holder
  1. Insert the tip of the probe pipe into the holder’s hole and push it until it stops.
  2. Mind the thermocouple’s pins to slide gently in their positions and do not bend!
  3. Tighten up the probe pipe’s sleeve.

Using the heated probe holder to perform soot test
  1. Squeeze the holder’s grip to open the slot for the filter.
  2. Slip in the filter into the slot, and release the grip.
  3. Select soot test option in the analyser’s menu to perform the test
  4. After the test is done compare the filter with the soot test scale
